Over the past few years, I’ve gradually gone from a “natural” look to a partly-trimmed look and have then gone shorter and shorter until finally I’m now totally smooth. Each time I’ve gone shorter, I’ve felt more comfortable, find it easier to wash, more hygienic and get more aroused during sex.

Having just taken the final step, epilating my chest and the pubes north of my penis (‘cos they just grow too damned fast to shave and itch too much when they regrow), I now just shave the more wrinked bits of my genitalia (which could get trapped in the tweezers of an epilator).

Yes, the epilator stung like crazy the first time I used it (even on trimmed pubes) and left red blotches for days but, even by the second time of use the discomfort on the new and finer hair was insignificant and the blotches far fewer and less noticable.

It’s not a perfect solution but, it’s probably the most practical. I now epilate my body once a week and my genitalia when I shower each morning.

My wife’s not yet entirely convinced about the smooth look, nevertheless, she loves the feel of my smooth abdomen, penis and balls and plays with them much more now than she ever used to.

After viewing men and women at nudist groups I have noticed that 75% of them shave their pubic hair completely. Not many landing strips. I have stated to shave mine. I feels so great to be smooth. I shave the balls and love it! I also shave above the balls around the balls. I have no hair down there. It’s fantastic to be hairless. I wish I would have went this way long ago.

I often wondered how many guys shave. Like the article says guys just don’t talk about it. At the gym I go to there are alot of “older” people 65 and older. None of them are shaved but I realize it’s a “younger” thing. None to the older guys say anything when I’m leaving the shower. I just get a look or two. I’m 49 and have been shaving for around 10 years now. When I first read about it I thought it would be interesting to try. My son was leaving for college and I just needed a change. So I started shaving the sides and over time worked my way in. Now I just have a little patch above the shaft. I also shave my stomach and trim the remainder of my body hair. It’s so comfortable I wish I would have shave long ago.
